What INDIE SOCIETY keeps, why, and for how long. No ads, no trackers, no data sold.

What we keep

Your Google account number and email address, to know it is you. The address is seen only by you and the admin. We ask Google for nothing else.
Your Instagram nick, if you give it: shown only to the devs you knock on, and to the admin.
Your knocks: which doors you knocked on and the dev's answer.
What you write and upload. Images and videos are redrawn by our media service, so the location and camera details inside a file never reach us.
Who you follow, what you like, your wishlist.
Stories and who watched them: deleted 24 hours after posting.
Sessions: a random token (we store only its fingerprint), your address and browser name, deleted 30 days after your last visit.
Room logs: who unlocked a room and when, and each play, kept 180 days.
Report proofs, byte for byte, while the report exists.

To run the service you joined, and to keep the community safe. There is no marketing here, so we ask no consent for it.

You can see, correct and delete your data. Write to support@indiesociety.app.
